Terri Shipley, OTR/L, CHT
Hand Therapy Director

Terri is a native of Nebraska and a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha in Occupational Therapy. She also has a teaching degree from Chadron State in Nebraska as well as a Masters in Exercise Physiology from James Madison University. Terri previously had taught middle school science before pursuing her Occupational Therapy degree. She worked several years at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News in acute, psych and outpatient settings before joining Tidewater Ortho in 2005.

Aimee Hightower, OTR/L, CHT

Aimee graduated from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She has worked in pediatric, sports and rehabilitative settings. Aimee joined Tidewater Ortho in 2007 and received her CHT in 2009. Aimee enjoys kayaking, rowing and yoga in her spare time. She is the primary therapist for the Williamsburg office.

Susan Windley, OTR/L

Susan began her occupational therapy career in 1998 with an associates degree of certification of occupational therapy assistant from Jefferson College in Roanoke, VA. She worked as an occupational therapy assistant for 5 years before deciding to return to school to receive her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Maine, graduating in 2006. Susan has joined Tidewater Ortho in 2009 and is planning on sitting for her certification exam in hand therapy in spring of 2013.

Pam McHose, COTA/L

Pam is from Lancaster, PA and has attended Lancaster General School of Nursing earning a Registered Nursing degree. She then attended Jefferson College of Health in Roanoke where she graduated with an associates degree of certification of occupational therapy assistant. Pam’s therapy background includes work with pediatrics before joining Tidewater Ortho in 2006.

Danielle Nettles, Hand Therapy Technician (Hampton)

Danielle is a native to the Hampton Roads area. She joined Tidewater Ortho in 2007.

Jan Stahmer, Hand Therapy Technician (Hampton)

Jan is a native of Louisville, KY. She joined Tidewater Ortho in 2010.

Marlena Caldwell, Hand Therapy Technician (Williamsburg)

Marlena is the newest member of our team joining in 2012. She is a native of New York.
